Terry
and Brothers
Rudolf,
Pinocchio and Plato
Let me introduce myself. I am
Terry.
Since May 1992, I lived at Pets Haven for 14 years, that means all my life. I was born
here. In the end I began loosing weight and my blood tests but not very
conclusive. I had my teeth cleaned and one pulled. But that didn't
help much. The last diagnosis was cancer and now I am
waiting at the Rainbow Bridge.
My
family history: My mother Winney and her friend Milly were left behind when
their humans moved away. Neighbors noticed them, because they were both
very pregnant and chasing bugs for food. Milly wasn't so sure she
wanted to have anything to do with the new people that were moving in,
so she took her babies and moved out. My momma was young and
less experienced, she stayed. Besides there was this other person that
had started bringing her food and water. So when that person came
back, she didn't mind going with her. So that's how my mother came
to Pets Haven (Milly came a few days later) and then we were born.

My three brothers and
I. And here they are still, my brothers, because they have bad
manners (Cat our house mom says, they can't help it because they have
urinary tract problems) When I was still around I was a big help,
there were always kittens to raise, manners to be taught and the
occasional litter box blunder to cover up. Only with cooking I
wasn't allowed to help anymore. I jumped on the stove one day and got
burned, that's why my blue bandage in the picture. But that was several years
ago.
My momma didn't stay with us, I think she got tired of us boys, Penny
still wanted to nurse when he was 4 months old.
She was a beautiful longhaired Calico and was adopted by a lady whose
children are in college and whose husband is at work. A really nice
place befitting our mom's beauty.
Rudolf my
1st brother has hyperthyroid problems and is slowly loosing his eye
sight and a lot of weight. Because of his generally poor
health he is not a candidate for Radiation or Eye Surgery. He
takes medicine for his thyroid and goes to the vet a lot for check
ups.
Pinocchio
my 2nd brother has to
be watched for bladder and kidney trouble. He has Feline Lower
Urinary Tract Disease and had to be cathetered several times over
the years. He is also starting to look skinny but his teeth
and thyroid are still ok.
Plato,
my 3rd brother has been on
medicine for many years, he has Inflammatory Bowel Disease. That
makes him throw up a lot and he also gets diarrhea very easy. He
has to eat special food so it stays down better.
So here I am waiting for
those whom I love and know they will some day come this way.
