Merlin' Story

A family adopted Merlin as a stray kitten.  When he was about 5 month old, his family had lost interest in him and decided they wanted to try a dog instead (their 3^rd dog in 3 years, as we found out).  Their solution was to just run Merlin off.  They quit feeding him and chased him away, when he tried to come back inside.  Their little daughter felt sorry for him and told us what was going on.  He is a small red Tabby and because of his painful experience a little shy.  Merlin loves to play and be petted and with a little TLC will get over his shyness.  When he feels secure, he loves belly rubs.
