Lucky's Story

Lucky was about 8 weeks old when he was found on a carport. The family who found him started feeding him outside and he kind of hung out, not knowing what else to do. When the people realized that he was sick, he had very bad diarrhea, they wanted to get rid of him as quick as possible. One of the children told us about him, and so he came to Pets-Haven. Lucky was running a high fever and his diarrhea was extreme. He tested positive for Feline Leukemia and was very anemic.

 It took nearly two month before Lucky was back on his feet. Today he is 6 years old and is doing quite well. He is being watched closely to make sure he doesn’t get anemia and occasionally he has to take prednisone for a couple of weeks.
