Chilly Winds and Red Noses

Chilly Winds and Red Noses didn't keep enthusiastic Easter Egg hunters from showing up for Pets Haven's Doggy Easter Egg Hunt at Ben Geren Park in Fort Smith on Saturday the week before Easter.  In spite of the weather about 50 dogs, many in beautiful costumes were brought by their owners to PHAR'S 2008 Doggy Easter Egg Hunt.

PHAR wants to especially thank all volunteers who put so much work and time into making this event possible and who showed up on a very cold and windy day with smiles on their faces and red noses.

A Big Thank You also to PHAR's supporters at our local TV and Radio Stations, Newspapers and Magazines for their help in advertising this event.  Also our gratitude goes out to many wonderful businesses and people in this area for donating to PHAR's fundraising auction.

Most of all, Thank You to everybody who came, especially all the four legged furr faces who put up with their owners festive ideas for the costume contest.  Our judges were very hard pressed to make a decision, not even 10 winners would have done all the beautiful efforts credit.  The dogs were wonderful and so well behaved, it was a joy to watch them.
