Baby's Story

Baby, a beautiful Border Collie mix who was born in the country and like so many unfortunate dogs ran loose and got lost.   He tried to make a peach farm his home but his natural exuberance wasn’t appreciated and the owner ran purposely into him when he chased the golf cart that was used in the orchard. Our rescue was cats only at that time, but I couldn’t leave the injured puppy there. So I brought back Baby instead of peaches. We tried to find his home for a long time and couldn’t adopt him out either. For some reason nobody wanted Baby. He is now 11 years old and enjoys a big outside run.   He is a good boy and sometimes goes swimming with us.

Baby has absorption problems and a bad tendency to gingivitis. He needs special food supplements and yearly dentals. Unfortunately, he doesn’t like to chew on things so his teeth don’t get any help there.

His dentals and specialty foods are very expensive.  Please help him to stay healthy for many more years
